B.Sc in Nutrition and Dietetics

B.Sc. in Nutrition and Dietetics is a 3 years long full-time undergraduate course divided over 6 semesters. It involves the study of food management, promotion of health through healthy food, and primarily focuses on the relationship between the body and food. This programme offers opportunities for students to develop professional competencies in the areas of Foods, Nutrition and Dietetics. Under this programme, students are taught to focus on improving the nutrition status of the people. After the completion of B.Sc Nutrition & Dietetics degree a student turns into a qualified nutritionist & dietician, who educate individuals or communities about proper food choices to promote healthy eating, prevent malnutrition or manage diet and nutrition-related deficiency conditions.The basic minimum eligibility for pursuing this course is a X and XII qualification with a minimum aggregate score of 45%.
